Love on Wheels is a non-profit organization that provides new suitcases filled with basic necessities, such as toiletries, socks, and underwear, as well as toys, blankets, and school supplies, for children entering the foster care system. Transitions to foster care can be both emotionally challenging and frightening, and many children move multiple times with nothing to call their own. Little House and it’s veterinarians founded Love on Wheels due to our passion for all creatures, great and small. We not only care for your four legged children, but also two legged children alike. Housed inside our hospital here in the Grassland area of Franklin, TN, each and every Little House team member provides time and energy to help support these deserving children. It is our combined passion for people and animals that inspires us to help our community.
We started Love on Wheels to both serve our community and also reach out to the hearts of these children entering foster care to provide them with hope. Our wish is that we can inspire positive change in the foster care system while also providing these children with a sense of belonging. In time, our mission is to reach even more deserving children by taking this program across our great nation. Little House is a proud supporter of Love on Wheels, giving time, resources, facilities, and sponsoring fund raisers to assist this wonderful organization.
