Before ever owning her first pet, Dr. Frevert somehow knew at a very young age that she would become a veterinarian. Dr. Frevert was born and raised in central New Jersey, before heading to the University of Notre Dame to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. With a father and brother who are also Notre Dame alumni, she knew there was no place she would rather attend in preparation for veterinary school. In May of 2009, Dr. Frevert accomplished her dream when she graduated first in her class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She then worked in New Jersey for three years, before relocating to the Nashville area with her husband, Drew. The Freverts have two daughters, Emily and Abigail, in addition to their pack of two dogs, Toby and Murray, and their cat, Foster. Dr. Frevert is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, is a certified Fear Free professional, and is certified in veterinary medical acupuncture.
