Before ever owning her first pet, Dr. Frevert somehow knew at a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Frevert was born and raised in central New Jersey, before attending the University of Notre Dame to earn her Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Biology and a minor in Anthropology.
In May of 2009, Dr. Frevert accomplished her dream when she graduated first in her class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She then worked in New Jersey for three years before relocating to Franklin with her husband, Drew.
The Freverts have two daughters, Emily and Abigail, as well as one dog and two cats.
Dr. Frevert is a member of the AVMA and TVMA and is a certified Fear Free professional. Her passion for improving the quality of life of her senior patients, who are commonly plagued with various orthopedic and neurologic conditions, led her to complete a certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in 2021.
She is also now working on an additional certification in canine rehabilitation (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee, which she hopes to complete in 2025.
